Loss Prevention Manager Needed

Location: Teutopolis, IL (Corporate Office) Company: Meyer Oil Co / Mach 1 Industry: Convenience Retail (24 stores across Central and Southern Illinois and Indiana)

Meyer Oil Co / Mach 1 is a family-owned business dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality products across our network of convenience stores. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Part-Time Loss Prevention Manager at our corporate office in Teutopolis, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and Resolve Losses: Conduct thorough investigations into alleged and actual theft, policy violations, and compliance concerns. Document findings and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Management and Authorities: Coordinate with store management and external agencies to ensure appropriate and legal responses to incidents.
• Special Projects: Complete special projects as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in loss prevention, security, or risk management is preferred but not required.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Independence and Discipline: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Demonstrates self-discipline by adhering to schedules, following through on commitments, and maintaining focus on tasks without external supervision.
• Persistence and Commitment: Exhibits persistence in investigating and resolving issues, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all aspects of loss prevention activities.
