POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Barback Reports to: Slot Supervisor
Department: Casino Beverage FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Bar back also ensures the excellent serving of patrons in a timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience while controlling levels of intoxication.
Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect the guest/employee experience. Demonstrate resiliency dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
Assist the bartenders and/or servers in the performance of their duties to ensure a positive experience for our guest.
Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: stock bar items, fill ice bins, replace bottles on Berg System, replenish juice used at bars, empty garbage, mop floors, keep all areas including bar mats and coolers, clean and orderly.
Replace beer kegs as needed.
Move bar supplies from storage areas to the appropriate bar locations.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensures the proper service of alcohol by following the current laws of the state and the policies of the company.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance
Mental Demands: Must be able to maintain professionalism during high-volume business
Work Environment: Must be able to work in varying temperatures including, but not limited to heat of cooking equipment and cold of walk-in cooler/freezers.
Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds and above average noise levels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Knowledge: Knowledge of current alcohol laws.
Other: Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license
Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification
Must complete all required company training Century Casinos
