​WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract at a prestigious hospital in Meadville, PA. This opportunity offers up to $2,200 per week, providing an excellent chance to enhance your experience in a supportive and dynamic clinical environment.

Job Function:

\n

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, ensuring accurate documentation.​

\n

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report them promptly in accordance with established policies.​

  \n
\n

• Educate patients about surgical procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care, to ensure they are well-informed.​

  \n
\n

• Accurately record patients' vital signs and medical information, maintaining up-to-date records.

  \n
\n

• Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment as necessary, interpreting and recording electronic displays to ensure optimal patient care.​

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
\n
• RN license or demonstrate willingness to obtain one.
\n
• 1–2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.
\n
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
