WCS Healthcare is currently seeking Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Sayre, PA. Travelers can earn up to $2,880 per week for this role.

Job Function:

\n

• Assist in cardiac procedures such as coronary stents, right heart catheterizations, and angioplasties, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.​

• Monitor patients' vital signs and sedation levels during and after procedures, promptly addressing any adverse reactions.​

  \n
\n

• Administer medications orally and intravenously in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.​

  \n
\n

• Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including intra-aortic balloons and physiological recorders, to monitor electrocardiogram data.​

  \n
\n

• Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, including surgical site maintenance, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications.​

  \n
\n

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.​

  \n
\n

• Manage documentation, including patient consent forms, charting, lab results, and procedure records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  \n
\n

Job Requirements:

• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).​

  \n
\n

• 3 years of experience.​

  \n
\n

• BLS certification (American Heart Association).​

  \n
\n

• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).​

  \n
\n

• ARRT certification.

  \n
\n

\n

\n
