What You'll Be Doing Act as a friendly, approachable mentor for students aged 13-18 Lead or support daily activities, evening events, and weekend excursions Supervise students on campus, during off-site trips, and during airport transfers Work collaboratively with a vibrant team of counsellors and program staff Assist with classroom transitions, student check-ins, and attendance logs Promote student safety, well-being, and a positive community atmosphere Represent Oxford Royale with professionalism, energy, and care This Role is Perfect for You If You enjoy working with young people and have experience in mentoring, tutoring, youth leadership, education, or camps You're adaptable, proactive, and thrive in fast-moving environments You're studying for or have completed a university degree You're a team player who brings a positive, solutions-focused attitude You're legally authorised to work in the U.S. for the duration of the contract Bonus Points If You Have Familiarity with Barnard College, Columbia University, or similar academic settings Experience in international programs or working with diverse student groups A background in enrichment activities, extracurricular leadership, or pastoral care Perks & Details Location: Barnard College, New York, NY Type: Full-time Contract, Non-residential Compensation: $16.50/hour with consistent scheduling (approx. 40 hrs/week across 6 days).
