Forklift Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be able to work 2:00pm-10:30pm (or 12:30 am if ot needed*
• Six months of related warehouse experience required, one year preferred.
• You will be required to operate stand-up forklifts, change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) intermediate required.
• Material Handling is required for this position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities:

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensure all scanning is completed correctly,
• Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactions
• Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required
• Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self-improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job description

· Operate a reach truck to place or remove large items on warehouse racks.

· Package and label items for shipment.

· Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse.

· Unloads, palletizes, picks, and loads loose cartons.

· Provides daily preventative maintenance checks of equipment as required.

· Escalates equipment mechanical issues to Lead Equipment Operator.

· Unloads/Loads freight in a safe and effective manner.

· Accurately verifies freight for quality and quantity.

· Other duties as assigned.

Reach Truck Requirements:

Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, push, pull, and able to lift to up to 50 lbs.
• 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE OPERATING EQUIPMENT
• safely navigate within a high-volume distribution center
• Skills and Abilities
• Attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift cartons of product, of up to 50 lbs.
