Job Description

Staff Scientist, Product (multiple teams hiring)

About The Teams

Airports: The Airports team strives to create the best possible experience for our Riders, Drivers, and Airport Partners. We work across Uber's entire tech stack, including Pricing, Matching, Maps, and Rider/Driver Experience, and are looking for a Staff Scientist who can generate insights to determine our overarching strategy and investment allocations across these key pillars.

Consumer Partnerships: Partnerships make the Uber experience even better by allowing consumers to earn additional perks on their trips and meals. These partnerships include many of the biggest brands in airlines, hotels, credit cards, and more, and we are always looking for ways to improve and grow these deals.

Reservations: The Reservations data science team owns the experience and algorithms powering the Uber Reserve Product in the Rider and Driver app. We optimize the user experience for both Riders and Drivers, matching, dispatch and pricing algorithms, as well as growth levers to deliver magical experiences and business value.

Rider Experience: The Rider Experience data science team owns the experience and algorithms powering the rider's end-to-end user experience within the Uber App from booking a ride to matching with a driver to completing the trip and leaving feedback. We drive growth in the mobility business by understanding how riders use the app, delivering a seamless experience, and creating new personalized features.

Uber for Business: Uber for Business brings the utility and convenience of Uber to companies, their employees, and their customers. We build innovative products on top of Uber's rides and delivery platforms, including Uber Health and vouchers, and are a key part of the company's next phase of growth.
