Job Description

The Pool Attendant is a vital member of the service team, providing a warm welcome to all guests as they enter the pool area, and providing general Food & Beverage service to guests in and around the pool area. The Pool Attendant will be responsible for providing amenities to guests and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of Halehouse Pool.

The key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Welcome and greet the guest by name if known with genuine smile, eye contact, enthusiasm, and engaging expression

  • Introduce the space and services available to first time guests

  • Present the food and beverage menu with infused water kraft and drinkware

  • Properly answer guest inquiries with regards to Halehouse hours of operation and basic operational information of the property

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Halehouse Pool area

  • Serve Pool Amenities to guests in a consistent and timely manner

  • Provide the pool area with fresh clean towels and remove dirty towels and other items from the pool area. 

  • Reset pool deck to ensure pool standards are maintained throughout the shift. 

  • Complete side work as assigned by management

  • Act as a liaison between the guest, management, service staff and kitchen and communicate accordingly. 

  • Assist in maintaining a safe environment around the pool area, reporting any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management immediately.

  • Demonstrate professionalism when speaking to guests and colleagues.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Seasonal Position: Starting on or about April 28th, 2025 and Ending on or about November 1st, 2025.

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service role

  • Has attention to detail and is highly organized. 

  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment

  • Initiative & follow through

  • Prioritization & multi-tasking

  • Have a working knowledge of Opentable and comfort with all functions required for completing side work and during service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
