Senior Human Resources Manager

Location: On-site | Monday – Friday

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function and play a critical role in shaping the employee experience across the organization. This position will oversee HR operations with a strong emphasis on compensation & benefits , talent management , employee relations , compliance , and organizational culture . The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep HR expertise and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion HR best practices while aligning policies and procedures with company goals and values.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement HR strategies, staffing plans, and culture initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of recruitment , onboarding , employee relations , training , and performance management .
  • Guide managers and employees on HR-related matters including labor relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, ERISA, etc.).
  • Manage compensation programs , employee benefits, and payroll compliance in accordance with wage and hour laws.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion efforts and ensure fair hiring practices across the organization.
  • Investigate and resolve workplace issues, grievances, and conduct sensitive employee investigations.
  • Serve as a liaison with legal counsel on employment matters when necessary.
  • Oversee Workplace Safety & Workers Compensation processes, including COVID-19-related protocols.
  • Stay current on HR trends and legislative changes and make strategic recommendations.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace through open-door communication and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of HR management experience, REQUIRED TO BE within hospitality or service-oriented industries.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and compensation strategy.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with prior experience managing HR teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR regulations (e.g., Title VII, FLSA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA).
  • Hospitality payroll experience is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with high emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and proactive approach.
  • Technically proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Full-time, onsite position (Monday – Friday) with flexibility based on business needs.
