WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Waterbury, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 4x10: 7am - 3:30pm.
\n

• Delivers patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship-Centered Care and the nursing process informed by theory, research, and evidence-based standards.

  \n
\n

• Assesses and evaluates patient needs, applying critical thinking to guide care decisions.

  \n
\n

• Integrates relevant assessment and intervention skills into daily nursing practice.

  \n
\n

• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

  \n
\n

• Prioritizes comprehensive patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, discharge planning, and appropriate delegation.

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.

  \n
\n

• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

  \n
\n

• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n

\n

\n

\n
