Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer (AI/ML) for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI . The ideal Software Engineer – Practitioner will develop Java-based solutions and support AI/ML pipeline integration within a GCP environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong Java proficiency and a desire to expand skills in cloud and machine learning technologies.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer (AI/ML) job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services.
Design and implement data processing pipelines for AI/ML models.
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security in cloud environments.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of Java development experience.
Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data processing pipelines.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
