Job Description

Our client, a global Financial Services firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Human Capital Analyst to support its expanding People Operations team.

Role Summary:

This position is ideal for an early-career HR professional looking to deepen their expertise in U.S. benefits administration while gaining broader generalist exposure. This hybrid role will work across various HR workstreams and will report into a senior member of the Human Capital function. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, a customer-first mindset, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration (~70%)

  • Manage daily operations tied to U.S. employee health, wellness, and retirement programs
  • Act as a key liaison between employees, vendors, and internal departments for benefit-related queries
  • Support benefits compliance (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA) and maintain accurate records and data
  • Assist with open enrollment and prepare employee-facing communications
  • Collaborate with payroll and HRIS to ensure seamless execution of benefit-related transactions
  • Generate reports on plan utilization, enrollment metrics, and cost tracking

General HR Support (~30%)

  • Support onboarding, policy inquiries, and other employee lifecycle events
  • Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and support internal audits or reconciliations
  • Assist with employee engagement programs and internal communications
  • Contribute to ongoing HR reporting, ad hoc projects, and compliance reviews

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 24 years of HR experience, including at least one year focused on U.S. benefits
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (preferably Workday)
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with analytics/reporting
  • Deep understanding of benefits regulations and compliance standards
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments

Additional Details:

  • Location: New York, NY or Stamford, CT
  • Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
  • Compensation: Base salary range of $90,000$105,000, plus discretionary bonus
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
