Job Description
The Role: We are actively seeking highly experienced and results-oriented B2B Apparel Sales Representatives to join our team. In this full-time, hybrid role (4 days on-site in Manhattan, with the option of 1 day remote), you will be responsible for selling our range of girls and women's apparel directly to retail stores, particularly large chain accounts. This is an immediate opening for individuals with a proven track record in wholesale apparel sales and existing connections within the retail buyer community.
Key Responsibilities:
Business-to-Business Sales: Drive sales by effectively presenting and selling our apparel lines to buyers at retail stores, including major chain accounts.
Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with existing and new retail buyers, fostering long-term partnerships.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact and product presentation to order placement and follow-up.
Order & Reorder Processing: Efficiently handle sales orders and reorders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with internal teams.
Market Insight: Stay informed about current apparel trends, competitor activities, and retail buyer needs to effectively position our products.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., design, production, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless order fulfillment.
Lead Utilization: Leverage provided leads and your own industry connections to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (4 days on-site in Manhattan, with the option of 1 day remote)
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of direct Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience within the apparel industry.
Industry Specificity: Proven experience selling girls and/or women's clothing to retail stores, particularly large chain accounts.
Buyer Connections: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers.
Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-Motivation: Highly disciplined, results-driven, and capable of managing a sales pipeline independently.
Location: Must be able to work on-site at least 4 days a week in Manhattan, New York City.
