We are partnering with a great company in Glastonbury, CT to find a skilled Maintenance Mechanic!

This is a fulltime direct hire position with full benefits, day shift M-F

This role requires a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems. You will work on the plant facility, electrical, mechanical and electronic repairs.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct repairs as necessary.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and ammeters, to assess equipment performance.
• Analyze schematics to understand electrical systems and high voltage components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Skills

• +5 or more years’ experience in dealing with maintenance in a similar environment or equivalent education.
• Experience in Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, cranes, etc .
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring (480 V through control voltage, basic PLC knowledge, relays, starters etc.)
• Proficiency in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems
