Compensation Range: $28.00 - $30.00/hour

Work Type: Hybrid (95% remote, 5% in-office)

Position Description:

The Alliance is seeking an experienced Corporate Recruiter for a 3 to 4-month contract to support our hiring efforts during a peak recruiting cycle. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from intake to offer, for a variety of corporate-level roles across multiple departments. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deliver top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with our organizational culture, mission, and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department leaders and the Director of People Operations to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and recruitment strategies.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offer negotiations.
  • Draft and post engaging job descriptions across relevant platforms.
  • Conduct proactive outreach and sourcing through LinkedIn and other job boards to build pipelines of qualified candidates.
  • Use Trello a project management tool to track recruitment progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain data accuracy and reporting for recruitment metrics and pipeline activity.
  • Support and reinforce The Alliance’s culture and values throughout all recruitment efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, specifically for corporate and professional roles (e.g., technology, administrative, finance, sales, operations, instructional design).
  • Understandingof the Insurance Industry or The Risk & Insurance Education Alliance designations a plus.
  • Experience in leveraging LinkedIn and Indeed to post jobs, source qualified candidates, and build talent pipelines.
  • Skilled in conducting interviews to assess candidate qualifications, culture fit, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
  • Professional and responsive written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to meet hiring goals.
  • Familiarity with Trello or similar project management tools is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability, urgency, and discretion.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • This position does not supervise any employees.

Work Environment:

  • This position is hybrid and can be performed from our climate-controlled office, with normal office noise. It may also be performed from a location of your choosing, in the city and state you were hired in.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical demands of this job include sitting in a stationary position in an office environment.

Position Type & Expected Hours:

  • This is a full-time position, and normal working hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:00 AMCT to 5:00 PM CT. There may be some nights, weekends, and overtime (for those eligible) when needed.
