As a multicultural teaching salon, we welcome stylists at all stages of their career journeyfrom recent beauty school graduates to seasoned professionals.Youll perform a wide range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, blowouts, and extensions, in an inclusive space that prioritizes continuous education, professionalism, and artistic excellence. Were looking for team members who take pride in their craft, love learning new trends, and embody the Booji core values: Beauty, Outstanding Service, Ongoing Education, Joyful Atmosphere, and Integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide warm, welcoming, and professional service to each guestConduct detailed consultations to ensure services align with guest expectations and lifestyleDeliver exceptional styling services including:Haircutting (dry, wet, or clipper)Hair coloring (single process, highlights, balayage, etc.)Blowouts, silk presses, and texture stylingHair extensions (tape-in, microlink, sew-ins, and more)Recommend and upsell products and services tailored to guest needsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of your station and shared salon spacesEducate guests on at-home maintenance and product usageAccurately record services, guest notes, and product sales in booking systemCollaborate with the team to support salon goals and operational flowAttend monthly team meetings, trainings, and education sessionsEmbrace mentorship opportunities, whether learning or leadingPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand for long periods (49 hours per shift)Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs (product bins, salon tools, cleaning supplies)QualificationsRequired:Valid Colorado Cosmetology LicenseStrong verbal communication and listening skillsExcellent customer service, time management, and organizational skillsPassion for hair care, beauty, and continued educationComfortable working with a diverse and multicultural guest base Schedule: Must be available to work days and weekendsPreferred:13 years of salon experience (ideal, not required)Familiarity with booking software, Google Suite, and social mediaDesire to grow into a leadership, educator, or specialist roleCore Values CommitmentAll team members must embody Booji Beautys core values: B.O.O.J.I.
