Asset Manager, Energy Storage

As an Asset Manager for Energy Storage at Ormat, you will play a crucial role in the Energy Storage team. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of energy storage assets, ensuring that they operate at peak efficiency to meet the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the performance and financial analysis of energy storage assets, ensuring they meet operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies that support the long-term goals of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to optimize asset performance and maximize revenue.
• Conduct regular assessments of asset condition and prepare reports for management regarding performance, opportunities for improvement, and investment recommendations.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to anticipate impacts on asset management and business development initiatives.
• Actively engage with stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and internal teams.
• Leverage data analytics to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in asset management, preferably within the energy sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting energy storage and renewable energy industries.
• Proficiency in asset management software and data analytics tools.
