About the Role: As a 401(k) and Defined Contribution Plan Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of defined contribution plans. This includes performing compliance testing, contribution calculations, and preparing required filings. You'll also support clients with plan operations, data collection, and transaction processing. Key Responsibilities: Administer 401(k) and defined contribution plans Perform trust and contribution reconciliations Review census data and maintain records in DATAIR and ASC DGEM Prepare valuation reports, contribution allocations, and Form 5500 filings Perform non-discrimination testing (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 401(a)(4), 401(a)(26), 415 limits) Handle participant transactions including loans, RMDs, QDROs, and distributions Review and correct contributions and testing failures Communicate with Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors on plan activity and compliance Assist with plan takeovers, transitions, and external audits Ensure compliance with ERISA and IRS regulations Manage day-to-day client relationships and support inquiries Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field 2–5 years of experience in retirement or pension administration Familiarity with DATAIR and ASC DGEM preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail Clear communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines Why PRC&A?
